Red Ogo Gracilaria is a deep green macroalgae that grows in a floating mass of fronds known as thalli. The scientific name is Gracilaria verrucosus. By keeping the aquarium water low in nutrients nuisance algae's such as Bryopsis and Valonia are unable to grow. Green Gracilaria also serves as a great food source for hungry fish. Feed Fish such as Tangs, Angelfish, and more. Improves fish coloration, and improves health. You will see a more energetic behavior in your fish when they eat live algae.

Pom Pom Gracilaria, a strong nutrient exporter, the scientific name is Gracilaria hayi. Uniquely shaped macroalgae grows in spherical clumps. Sometimes referred to as pom pom or birds nest algae, it's bright red and bergundy in hue and graced with sharply tapered, forked fronds, it adds a splash of color and texture to any tank. It is also prized by many keepers of herbivorous fish (especially tangs). A great element to add to medium to high flow refugiums, algae reactors and inventive displays.

Chaetomorpha sp. is a form of macroalgae that typically grows in long strands that ball up in clumps, where the clump then grows in size as the algae absorbs light and nutrients from the water column. Chaetomorpha Algae has become a favorite amongst reef aquarium keepers for its ability to absorb excess nutrients. Beyond its nutrient filtering capability, Chaetomorpha Algae grown in the refugium also provides habitat for a wide variety of beneficial organisms like copepods, amphipods, worms and mini starfish.
