Description:
This is a fast growing multibranching coral. It is a peaceful coral and can be placed near other peaceful corals. Ample growth room should be given due to it’s rapid growth rate. The ORA German Blue Polyp Digitata is a round tipped, branching Montipora digitata coral with short, bright blue polyps and golden yellow to white growth tips.

Lighting
This coral requires intense lighting to maintain blue polyp coloration.(PAR 375-450) to maintain its bright colors. T5's, Metal Halides, or LED's can all grow sps when the proper PAR levels are provided. We recommend a 14-20K color spectrum for best coloration.
Placement
.Place this one on an exposed rock or ledge in the aquarium where it will receive direct flow and light. Montipora Digitata will encrust the rock and grow beautiful branched colonies.
Diet and Feeding
This coral is photosynthetic. Meaning a good portion of its nutrition comes from the algae zooxanthellae, through the light they receive. We recommend for feeding to use Oyster-Feast and/or Roti-Feast. Target feeding gets the corals fed using less food while keeping your nitrates and phosphates lower.
