Montipora Coral For Sale

Aquarium Creations offers for sale an exciting selection of Montipora corals, that are bright, colorful, and easy to keep. Montipora are excellent coral for the beginner aquarist because they are an easy to care for coral and fast growing. They grow in many interesting shapes and colors including shades of orange, red, and neon green Montipora. From plating structures to tabling structures, tree-like structures to encrusting, there are many shapes they can take on, even the same species in multiple aquariums can grow into different shapes.

Montipora usually are placed half way up the reef tank, with a medium level of lighting. The exception to the rule is when you are working with either a plating or encrusting Montipora, then place closer to the bottom of the reef to keep it from being burned from too strong a light level. All Montipora love strong water flow levels, they must have plenty of water circulation. They are not an aggressive species, they should not be close to aggressive corals. Give more room then nescessary so growth doesn't put the coral to close to an aggressive coral. For feeding they require a fine particulate food such as Zooplankton. As their food floats around your reef tank they will pick up food as it passes by.
